Overview

As a Patient Liaison (PL), your mission is to deliver an exceptional patient experience while supporting the growth and operational excellence of The Joint Preservation Center across multiple locations and time zones within the United States.


 

You will serve as the primary point of contact for patients throughout their surgical journey—guiding them from initial inquiry through post-operative recovery—ensuring clarity, confidence, and a high level of care at every step.


 

In addition to your core responsibilities as a Patient Liaison, you will also provide flexible support across marketing, technology, and operations, contributing to the continuous improvement and scalability of the practice.


 

This is a dynamic role designed for someone who takes ownership, thinks proactively, and is committed to both patient care and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients via phone, email, and text

  • Prequalify patients and ensure all required information is submitted prior to the first consultation

  • Schedule appointments, coordinate logistics, and collect consultation payments when applicable

  • Educate patients on the surgical process, set clear expectations (without providing medical advice), and guide them with clarity and confidence toward treatment decisions

  • Deliver timely, accurate, and consistent communication throughout the entire patient journey, including post-operative follow-up

  • Answer and manage incoming calls, resolving inquiries or directing them appropriately

  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation of all patient interactions

  • Gather patient satisfaction feedback and testimonials according to established guidelines

  • Uphold strict confidentiality and data security standards

  • Support process documentation, optimization, and implementation, and contribute to cross-functional problem-solving

  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, clinical teams, and internal staff
